As the slashing of swords is heard, the bodies of many knights are on the ground, Mordred kills another Knight. Mordred calls out
"Is King Arthur here? Where is the King of Knights?!"
Mordred continues to slaughter many knights who stand against him, continuing to call for King Arthur in rage. Suddenly before him, King Arthur appears, holding his holy sword, Excalibur in one hand, and his holy lance, Rhongomyniad in his other.
Mordred looks at King Arthur and yells "Why won't you recognize me as your son? Is that your answer, King Arthur? Silence? I was happy just being in your shadow, yet never once did you turn around to face me! This is the end of your kingdom. This is the consequences for not recognizing me as the next King!" Mordred yells out
With no response back, King Arthur raises Excalibur.
[[Go to the next page]]
King Arthur begins to cough up blood as he picks up Excalibur. He then drops to his knees and holds Excalibur tightly, dropping his holy lance.
"My King!" A voice nearby yells
King Arthur turns to look at a knight, Bedivere.
"Bedivere...my first Knight..." King Arthur coughs out
"Nobody else shall wield Excalibur...return the sword to the Lady of the Lake....and let it be perished in the lake, just like me." King Arthur says softly.
"I...I...I will." Bedivere says, reluctantly. He picks up the sword and then hurries off to return it to the lake.
With its wielder giving in, the sacred sword starts to lose its shine.
As Bedivere quickly reaches the lake nearby, he reaches out to dispose of Excalibur...but he hesitates. The sword barely touches the water of the lake, but Bedivere does not drop it into the water
"I cannot throw away what is left of my king's legacy..." Bedivere says...
On the bloodsoaked battlefield, on this hill of regret, pain and betrayal, Arthur hears a voice:
"I shall grant you a final chance to become the ultimate king".
The king accepted the offer, so that this devastated fate would hopefully change into a better end...
Excalibur begins to glow blue as Bedivere holds it, as a blue light is sent into the air. King Arthur and Mordred begin to be healed...
Arthur grips his holy lance that lays next to him, and instead Arthur begins to glow yellow, hearing a dark, deep monsterous voice yell into him
"We must begin the Holy Selection!".
[[Arthur's eyes begin to turn yellow as he slowly stands up, holding the lance.]]
<audio src="https://puu.sh/FFWzu/d6c465e493.ogg" autoplay>(font: "Raleway-Dots;font-size:300%") [Chapter One: The False King]
The next day, King Arthur calls upon the Knights of the Round Table, oddly enough including Mordred, who he seemd to forgive.
King Arthur then locks the doors to the meeting room, and explains his intentions.
"I summoned you all because I require your power."
"While I can easily destroy my enemies alone, I cannot conquer alone. I intend to purge any evil in this world, and I shall start by capturing Jersualem, and then the rest of the world."
[[Continue Reading]]As the sun sets, the meeting begins. The Knights of the Round Table reconvene before King Arthur, many stood as those that would try to stop the King, and others stood as those that would follow the King.
It starts with much awkward silence....as it should.
The Knights all begin to speak their own ideals, with much bickering.....
Galahad makes it clear that he is loyal to the "True King", and not whoever "This false king is". Percival, Kay, and other knights follow him.
Mordred, Gawain, Tristan, Lancelot and Gareth all make it clear that they will follow Arthur.
Galahad then asks you "Bedivere....your choice?"
[[You give time to think]]
As you state your allegiance with the King still, Galahad, Percival and others look at you in dissapointment
"He is NOT King Arthur. Though he may look like it, Bedivere...this isn't our King but...that is your choice" Galahad responds.
King Arthur then stands up and points at those that oppose him
"Kill them all, my loyal Knights".
"Guys...please!" Sir Percival cries out
Mordred is the first to rush forward, slashing at Percival, who blocks it.
Then, the rest of the Knights clash, as you watch in horror. You grab your sword but struggle to even hold a grip on it as you cannot bear to take part in the slaughter.
You watch as they strike down those they love the most, becoming Sinners...becoming doomed to burn their souls....what made them human, away.
As Percival, and other Knights are killed, the last remaining opposer is Galahad, who holds a large shield with a sword, backed against a wall alone.
[[ You look at Galahad ]]
You stand with Galahad, Percival and the other knights that stand against the King.
The Knights charge at each other, including you. The Knights strike down their fellow comrades.
You look as more and more of your fellow Knights are slaughtered one by one
"Galahad! They outnumber us, we need to do something!" Sir Percival says to Galahad, who is busy fighting Sir Gaheris.
"Die, Traitor!" Sir Gaheris yells, slashing at Galahad, who blocks it with his shield, who takes out his sword, and stabs Gaheris in the chest, killing him
"Forgive me, Sir Gaheris" Galahad says, standing over Gareth's body.
"Bedivere, you hold King Arthur's sword, Excalibur and was his first Knight...if anyone is going to save Camelot, it's you! Now go! We'll hold them off!" Galahad exclaims.
[[Listen to Galahad's advice]]
[[Ignore his advice, stay and fight]]
In the original tale, the Battle of Camlann was the legendary final battle of King Arthur, in which he was fatally wounded fighting his son, Mordred, the Knight of Treachery who was said to also die in the battle. Fatally wounded, King Arthur tasks the Knight Bedivere, the first member of the Knights of the Round table, to return the holy sword, Excalibur to the lady of the lake, and he does so, and King Arthur then passes away.
However, in the Camelot Paradox. Loyal to the end, Bedivere never returns Excalibur to the lady of the lake after the Battle of Camlann, as he wants his king to live. Excalibur then begins to heal King Arthur, but King Arthur’s holy lance, “Rhongomyniad” begins to change King Arthur, enticing Arthur to have new intentions....
As Bedivere, you, must choose to aid the King in his plans or side against him and try to stop him.

"I require knights that shall become my very own hands and feet...and I know this violates the very beliefs we used to fight against, but I have seen the truth...Will you obey me? Or shall you leave my side?" King Arthur asks
"Or...will you band together to strike me down in this very spot? You have 'till sunset" King Arthur commands
[[Next Page]]
And so, the Knights of the Round Table then looked around.
Surely there would be those that sided with the King, and those that would try to stop him. Nobody was going to try to leave Camelot, disagreement would put them as an enemy against Camelot...and death penalty.
The knights each had their own action, Percival talking politely with each knight, but you can clearly see the tears in his eyes.
Sir Kay became silent, and vanished from the room.
Sir Tristan closes his eyes and merely sleeps in his seat.
Sir Lancelot though was hard to admit it, realized that following the King would be the best of this horrible situation.
Galahad, the famed "pure" knight that found the Holy Grail, only to return it to heaven, says to his father, Lancelot. "Father...you shall follow this King, won't you?"
Sir Lancelot doesn't look at his son back, but Galahad already knows the answer from the way he refuses to look back at him.
"Bedivere....this is not our king." Galahad says to you in a calm manner.
"How dare you!" Mordred yells at Galahad, who shrugs him off.
Then, the rest of the knights all wander off to think alone.....

A fight was inevitable...no matter what side he chose, they would be forced to kill those that were most dear to them, people they've served with for years.
The only way to protect the King was to kill your own fellow countrymen...
The only way to take down the King is to elminate the countrymen that stand in your way...
Neither side bore hatred against another...
This was the only way...
You think...and respond:
[[ I shall always remain loyal to him. I side with the King]]
[[I agree...this is not our King we served before...taking over the world? This is madness!]]

"It's over Shield Bastard!" Mordred calls out, leaping forward, as Galahad easily blocks, and hits him in the head with a shield, knocking him out.
Galahad looks at you calmly
"Only you, could have stopped this. This will be your sin to bear...." Galahad says to you, accepting his fate of being killed by his comrades....and his father
Galahad drops his shield and picks up Mordred's sword, now wielding two. He raises them both, prepared for his fate.
Galahad gives one last warcry as he charges forward at all the Knights.
You turn away as you cannot bear to watch...but you hear the slashes and grunts of battle...
As you turn back around, you see Galahad on his knees....blood falling from his mouth, looking at you as he falls backwards, his life fading away.
You watch in horror as Lancelot, his own father, stabs his body, making sure he is dead
[[You state your allegiance again...]]
<audio src="https://puu.sh/FFWzp/9042ff2175.ogg" autoplay>
You listen to Galahad's advice, and start to run to the door of the throne room. You see Mordred charge at you, with your sword still at it's sheathe you realize it's too late...
Suddenly, you see Percival in front of you, with Mordred's sword through his chest. He coughs out blood, and looks back at you
"Go...save...Camelot" Percival whispers with his dying breath, falling to the ground.
You see all that remain:
Agravain, Gawain, Lancelot, Mordred, Tristan, and Gareth remain all that's left, standing with King Arthur.
"Go....now." You hear Galahad call to you, injured, holding his sword and shield.
King Arthur points at you and yells "Kill Bedivere, now!"
The Knights charge at you, but Galahad pushes you out of the throne room, holding his shield and sword ready to make a final stand.
[[ As you run away, you turn around and see Galahad holding off the Knights as long as he can, until you turn back around and start running as fast as possible]]
You ignore his advice, and stand side by side with Percival and Galahad
You realize that all that remains against the king is you three.
"Fine then, stay and die with us". Galahad says, raising his sword
"For Camelot!" Galahad yells, as all three of you charge forward against the many knights
[[ You charge forward ]]
"Is it hate? You hate me because I was born from a witch? ANSWER ME ARTHUR!" Mordred asks, as he charges towards King Arthur.
Mordred slashes at King Arthur, who deflects Mordred's slash, and then backs up.
King Arthur then stabs Excalibur into the ground, using both hands to wield his Lance.
"Never once have I hated you". The King responds calmly.
Raising his holy lance, King Arthur continues
"If you want to know why I didn't give you the throne...."
King Arthur charges at Mordred in high speed, with Mordred ready to attack back. Mordred stabs Arthur in the right side of his stomach, but Arthur then plunges his Lance into Mordred's chest.
"It was because you don't have the capacity of a King" says King Arthur.
Mordred's eyes shoot open in suprise, as he realizes it was never hatred...but that he simply didn't have the qualities of a leader....
"Fa....ther..." Mordred calls out, in his dying breath.
Mordred falls to the ground, lifeless.
[[ King Arthur takes out his lance from Mordred's body, and walks over to Excalibur...]]
<audio src="https://puu.sh/FFWzm/50abbdc579.ogg" autoplay>As you escape the castle, you wander among the streets of Camelot
[[ You decide to escape Camelot ]] Despite the courage and effort, you are only three Knights against many.
Soon, Percival is killed, and so is Galahad. You realize it was a mistake to stay...
You feel something stab through your chest from behind...as you turn around and see Gawain stab you from behind.
[[ GAME OVER ]]Return to checkpoint:
[[You give time to think]]After joining King Arthur and the knights that remained with him, King Arthur slowly takes over Europe, Asia, and soon expands Camelot's empire across the seas, and soon taking over the world, as a grand ruler.
A decade later, you realize your mistake...but it is far too late.....
[[ GAME OVER ]]
You manage to leave Camelot without any resistance, and wonder where to go next.
King Arthur plans to take over Jerusalem, "The Holy Land". However, you alone cannot save Jerusalem...perhaps the Egyptians can?
[[ Head to "The Holy Land" ]]
[[ Head to Egypt ]]You head to Jerusalem, and try to warn the people of an attack by King Arthur.
However, King Arthur's past reputation is already too good for them to believe he would do such a horrid thing.
As the weeks go by, King Arthur's forces arrive, however it appears to be only light infentry leading the attack.
You help fight off the Camelot Forces
Jerusalem can't hold them off forever, they need help!
[[ Head to Egypt ]] You head to Egypt, travelling across the desert with your armor, food, water, and Excalibur.
After weeks of travelling, you finally arrive in Egypt.
The guards escort you to Ozymandias, the new pharaoh of Egypt.
[[ You plead for his help ]] You tell him that if you don't help Jerusalem now, Camelot will continue to attack everything, eventually hitting Egypt.
Though he was initially hesitant to help, he thinks it would be better to save the world.
[[ Chapter Two: Jerusalem ]] After pleading to Ozymandias for help, you must decide what to do next....
[[ Convince Ozymandias to defend Jerusalem]]
[[ Convince Ozymandias to attack Camelot ]]You recommend Ozymandias to defend Jerusalem, and slowly gain power over time instead.
4 Months later...the war rages on in a stalemate.
Ozymandias is then offered a ceasefire by King Arthur. Being a former member of Camelot, Ozymandias asks you to decide instead of him.
[[Accept Ceasefire]]
[[Decline Ceasefire]]
You convince Ozymandias to attack Camelot with his forces.
However, as Camelot kept attacking Jerusalem, they only grew stronger, and King Arthur had expected a high chance of Ozymandias sending his forces to attack. Ready for their attack, King Arthur overwhelmed Ozymandias and his forces, and slaughtered them all.
As Sir Gawain raises his sword as you kneel before him dying, you realized it was a mistake.
[[ GAME OVER ]]You accept the ceasefire, and for the most part it goes well. Ozymandias then moves away from Egypt in case of an ambush, and leads from afar.
However, a few Egyptian rebels continue to attack Camelot. In rage of these attacks, King Arthur decimates Jerusalem. The survivors of the attack are now refugees living in Camelot.
As you go to spy on the outskirts of Camelot, you see Sir Gawain, holding many of the refugees prisoner, on their knees in a line. You hear him state that he wants the location of Ozymandias.
What do you do?
[[ Confront Gawain and his forces with your own ]]
[[ Ignore the executions, and continue on your spying on Camelot ]]You decline the ceasefire.....
6 Months later, Egypt is ambushed by an attack force led by Mordred, and Egypt is overwhelmed.
As Mordred stands before you, he says
"Arthur wanted you alive...however, I don't let traitors live!"
As you see his sword go through your chest, you wonder if you could go back....
[[ GAME OVER ]]You confront Gawain and his forces, with your own Egyptian soldiers sent by Ozymandias to escort you.
Caught offguard from the ambush, you defeat Gawain, but he retreats. A Camelot soldier survives, and you take him prisoner. He reveals that Sir Tristan, a knight of the Round Table has been sent to attack Egyptian villages, while Mordred attacks other villages. The prisoner also reveals that before you confronted Gawain and his forces, one of the Egyptian refugees revealed Ozymandias's location.
[[ You then see Sir Lancelot with calvary charge at you, but you try and run ]]As you ignore the executions, one of the survivors reveals the location of Ozymandias, and is eventually found and hunted down. Without their leader, the Egyptian forces then blame you for their leaders death, and you are now alone in the fight against Camelot....
You are eventually found by Camelot forces, and are executed
[[ GAME OVER ]]Lancelot slowly catches up on horseback, and you are forced to make a choice.
[[ Fight Lancelot ]]
[[ Continue to run away ]]You turn around and face Sir Lancelot, who laughs as he charges at you.
You slide and dodge his Lance and as he attempts to stab forward, and you stab the horse as you dodge his attack, throwing him off the horse.
You use this as an advantage to attack, and you lunge forward and manage to slice at his stomach, which he could not block with his heavy lance. He stabs forward, and you manage to parry, and manage to put your blade to his neck.
He then surrenders, as your Egyptian forces disarm him. You ask for any weaknesses that King Arthur might have.
[[He reveals that Sir Galahad had survived the massacre of the Knights.]]
You continue to run away, however without a doubt his horse is faster than you on foot, and he stabs you with his lance, killing you instantly.
[[GAME OVER]]You remember Sir Galahad giving you the chance to escape and not be killed like Sir Percival and the rest...Sir Galahad must be important for them to take him prisoner....
[[ Sneak into Camelot and save Galahad ]]
[[ Head to Ozymandias and convince him to assault Camelot before it's too late ]]You sneak into Camelot, and sneak past the guards watching the prison. You find Galahad in a cell in the distance. You run towards the cell.
"What are you doing here?!? It's a trap!" Galahad yells, as you see many Knights appear from the shadows, surrounding you.
You try to fight off as many as possible, but you are overwhelmed, and see King Arthur stab Sir Galahad in the chest as Sir Mordred stabs you in the chest
[[GAME OVER]]The entirety of Egypt assaults Camelot, who did not have Lancelot to help defend. You reach the prison with Ozymandias and some forces, and clear out the guards. You then free Sir Galahad, who hugs you in thanks and knew you would come back one day.
Sir Galahad says the only way to end this would be to stop King Arthur. As you make your way right before the throne room, you find Mordred, Agravain, and Tristan waiting.
"Well well well. If it isn't Shield Bastard, the coward and Ozymandias!" Sir Mordred says, glaring.
"You want King Arthur? You gotta get through us I'm afraid!" Sir Agravain says
"That is not King Arthur. King Arthur was a man who would never order executions of innocents, and conspire to take over the world! You serve a false king." Sir Galahad says, standing in front of you and Ozymandias, wielding his shield and sword.
[[ Fight them ]]
[[ Try to run past them ]]You, Ozymandias and Galahad charge forward.
Galahad blocks an attack by Mordred, and Ozymandias fights Agravain.
You swing at Sir Tristan, remarking on how he raided Egyptian villages, killing innocents.
"I did what my king ordered to do! I am Knight of the Round Table!" He exclaims in rage, swinging at you
"But at what cost? Your integrity? The Knights of the Round Table used to mean something, to be a hope of the people of Camelot --not murderers of innocents" You say as you block his attack.
Shocked at your words, Sir Galahad knocks out Sir Tristan with his shield from behind.
Mordred then charges at Galahad still, who easily dodges and trips Mordred, who falls on the ground.
You notice Ozymandias managed to defeat Sir Agravain.
With Mordred on the ground, Sir Galahad points his sword at Mordred, defenseless.
"Mordred, The Knight of Treachery, surrender" Sir Galahad says calmly.
"Long live the King" Mordred says back, with anger in his face
Ozymandias then stabs Mordred, and nods at both you and Galahad.
[[ You enter the throne room, and find King Arthur waiting, holding his Holy Lance, Rhongomyniad. ]]
You try to run past them, however their strength is way too powerful to run past, and you are killed
[[GAME OVER]]CHAPTER 4: THE SINFUL KNIGHT
King Arthur stands ready, glaring at you, Ozymandias and Sir Galahad.
[[ Plead King Arthur to stop the madness ]]
[[ Fight King Arthur ]]
<audio src="https://puu.sh/GxEkP/d45da14393.ogg" autoplay>You plead King Arthur to stop the madness, and that his madness is going too far.
"As your first Knight, I have watched you grow to be a wonderful King...but this is not the way, Arthur!" You plead to him
However, King Arthur looks at you, visibly confused.
"Do I know you?" King Arthur asks
"It's as I said...this is not King Arthur anymore." Sir Galahad says to you
Looks like there is no other way....
[[ Fight King Arthur ]]
<audio src="https://puu.sh/GxEkP/d45da14393.ogg" autoplay>
You all charge at King Arthur, who rushes forward in almost near super-human speed. You see his eyes glow more yellow as the fight goes on, parrying Ozymandias's swings, and Galahad's attacks.
As the fight goes on, Arthur struggles, murmuring Bedivere's name as he fights.
"Arthur! It's me! Don't you remember? I was your very first Knight, your loyal attendant!" You yell to Arthur.
"You asked me to throw away Excalibur back where you found it, to the Lady of the Lake! But I couldn't throw away what was left of you as you were dying..." You say to him with regret.
"Excal...ibur..." Arthur murmurs...staring at the sword you hold in your hands.
"Throw it away! Do it!" Arthur yells at you
"Don't listen to him, that isn't Arthur!" Sir Galahad says to you
[[ Abandon Excalibur in the fight and use a normal sword ]]
[[ Decline throwing it away ]]
<audio src="https://puu.sh/GxElb/b832ead06c.ogg" autoplay>You throw Excalibur away in the fight, which makes King Arthur even stronger and faster, and manages to kill Galahad with ease, and then Ozymandias, and then stabs you.
"You fool. The one thing holding me back was that Excalibur still was being wielded by someone....This is the end of your little resistance, Bedivere."
[[GAME OVER]]You decline throwing it away, which you notice seems to glow more and more, and King Arthur gets slower and slower, and you see his glowing yellow eyes slowly turn back to his normal blue eyes.
In rage he kicks Galahad in the chest, and then trips Ozymandias and lunges at you screaming in anger.
"Your tyrannical order ends here!" You say, as you charge forward as well
[[ Arthur stabs you in the chest with his lance ]]"Bedi!" Galahad says in horror, as you look down and see Arthur's lance pierce your chest.
"Forgive me for what I shall do next..." You say...as you manage to raise Excalibur, and slash King Arthur's side.
[[ Excalibur begins to glow ]]As Excalibur begins to glow, you see yellow light exit Arthur, and go into Excalibur.
"Bedivere.....I...I remember now. I-I'm sorry....I'm so sorry Bedivere...." Arthur stammers, hugging you.
Arthur thanks you for being his last loyal knight, until the very end...
You close your eyes, and realize that this is the end...and your sin of not throwing away Excalibur...has finally been rendered a judgement.
You accept your fate, as your life fades away...
[[ Continue ]]
<audio src="https://puu.sh/DGdDM/3c743b5798.ogg" autoplay>King Arthur then surrenders himself to Galahad and Ozymandias.
"I request that someone with proper honor, shall lead Camelot...for I have failed it." King Arthur says with sadness, his eyes closed and kneeling before Galahad.
"That means you, kid. Now, what are you going to do about Arthur?" Ozymandias says, smiling at him.
Galahad wonders what he must do
[[ Execute King Arthur for his betrayal against the world ]]
[[ Arrest Him ]]Galahad executes Arthur with his sword.
Ozymandias sees the very kind of person Arthur turned into right before his eyes. Galahad has been corrupted. Ozymandias then slashes at Galahad, who blocks the attack.
"What are you doing?" Galahad asks in desperation
"Saving humanity." Ozymandias says, charging forward
[[ Next... ]]"Killing him would only make me become the very thing we have stopped...we shall arrest him" Galahad says to Ozymandias.
Seeing the honor in Galahad, Ozymandias tells Galahad that he'll do a fine job leading Camelot.
[[ 2 Weeks Later ]]After killing Galahad, Ozymandias begins to rule Camelot as well, and rebuild Egypt for a few days. He then returns to the throne room, and sees Arthur's lance sitting there next to the throne. He picks it up, and unknowingly is corrupted as his eyes turn the same yellow Arthur's eyes turned to....
[[GAME OVER]]Galahad destroys Arthur's holy lance, and begins to rebuild Camelot and it's honorable ways, in honor of Bedivere, Percival, and the rest of the fallen knights that stood against Arthur.
